Nike - Hypervenom

HYPERVENOM

This film launched possibly the biggest innovation from Nike in 2013 - the Hypervenom football boot, designed specifically for strikers creating a new breed of attack.
The benefits the boot offered were highlighted by a powerful campaign fusing the imagery of predatory animals with the boot design. These ‘lethal’ attacking qualities were combined to create three fantastic new predators.
The animal details and boot elements were deconstructed and carefully rebuilt into animations, to create disturbing representations of each predator.
Each creature underwent an additional layer of animation, to create a morphing transitional looping sequence, aptly titled 'The Breed’.
A complex audio-bed of slithering, menacing and morphing sound design was carefully constructed for the sequence, bringing the animations to life.
